rosephillips.com is now home for RPC

I have re-acquired the domain name “rosephilips.com” for exclusive use by Rose-Phillips Communications. Years ago, I switched from .com to .net as a subtle change in tone for what was mostly a non-profit enterprise, email and web-space for my family. Now that I am doing business as Rose-Phillips Communications, I brought the rosephillips.com domain back online. All the old rosephillips.net email addresses still work; they redirect to the new domain automatically. As before, I am hosting with Laughing Squid of San Francisco. They have great prices, superior technology, excellent customer support, social conscience and good business sense.

The Long-EZ

On May 10th, 2006, my birthday, I was taken on a flight from Salem to Madras and back by my friend Dave Koester. This airplane, one of two aircraft he owns, is called a Long-EZ and it looks much like a spaceship. It was an amazing experience. I took my small, highly portable consumer grade Panasonic digital video camera and shot 90+ minutes of video. This is the 12 minute version of my flight over the Cascades to Central Oregon and home again.
